Why did we choose a pickup platform and what are the advantages?

Your LOKI Basecamp does not depreciate with the mileage you put on your vehicle. When your pickup has reached an end of life, showing signs of age, or your lease has expired, your LOKI Basecamp is easily transferable to a new truck, thus securing your investment. In addition, pickup trucks enhance your ability to reach the most remote areas.

Can we use the LOKI Basecamp when it is not on the vehicle?

Of course, LOKI Basecamp is 100% self sufficient. Energy is harvested from the solar panels and stored in the Lithium batteries inside the unit. If you need to make a supply run back into civilization, but want to leave your crew on site, simply slide-out your LOKI Basecamp, and your good to go. Your Basecamp will function exactly the same way on or off the pickup truck.
